If slippers aren’t your thing (or even if they are!) you’ll love extra-cozy, slipper socks! I love the neutral ones that I can throw on over regular socks but they look a sweater on my feet. Score! Perfect for lazy winter days.
I recently asked my best friend if there was a thing as too much “blanket” in a blanket scarf. Most people would probably say yes, but we voted no. ;) How can you go wrong with a scarf that feels as cozy as a blanket?!
If you don’t agree with us, but love the blanket scarf look, a very popular hack on our Frump Fighters group is to cut the blanket scarf in half diagonally and it gives you the same look with half of the bulk!
I’ve struggled for years to find the perfect beanie. Since discovering C.C. beanies I’ve never looked back. I have an off white and a dark grey without the pom pom and a black just like the picture above. I feel put together and trendy wearing these during the winter and they keep me warm and save those bad hair days when you still need to show your face in public. ;)
Keeping your feet warm is integral to staying cozy during those cold snaps. My house is all hard wood so I live in slippers during the winter. A neutral pair like these will look cute with a variety of outfits and you won’t feel like your shoes just bombed your outfit. Unlike my worn out bunny slippers ;)
I find it hard (and often expensive) to find different knit socks in the colors I want to wear with my riding boots. Boot cuffs to the rescue! I have one cream pair sweater socks that really add to my outfits when I wear them. But sometimes a different color would be nice and these boot cuffs sets would be perfect without the bulk and cost of sweater socks.
These are like encasing your legs in the softest fleece blanket you have. I bought a pair for a recent cold weather vacation and I think they are my new best friend! Leggings pair well with slip on shoes or riding boots and either way you will be warm and put together!
Lounge pants don’t have to mean your rattiest pair of yoga pants from college. Not that any of us have those, right? Right. ;) Upgrade your lounge wear with a cute floral or striped pair. Now those quiet, cozy days at home are still comfy, but don’t carry even a hint of frump!
Sweater BOOTS?! Sign me up! Wear these with leggings or skinny jeans and your feet will be encased in glorious comfort while still being fashionable and on trend.
Similar to the lounge pant situation, give your sweatshirts an upgrade by choosing a fun, cheery print that you can throw on with some skinny pants and sweater boots or leggings and slippers. You’ll instantly feel put together and much less ratty!

A good oversize sweater can be hard to find, but once you have one it will be love at first sight, er, wear. Choose a solid that will coordinate with the rest of your wardrobe so you have multiple options. My favorite way to wear mine is with black leggings and a leopard scarf. Comfy and frump-free outfit for the win!
This shawl would be SO chic with some leggings and a long sleeve top underneath. Talk about comfy, casual, and on trend! I love the tassle details on the bottom!
