My Shopping List

Creating and using a shopping list is key as you work toward an elastic wardrobe. It avoids waste, keeps you focused while shopping, and helps you fill the holes in your closet. This page will display my ongoing list and describe any items I have found. Click here to read more about the importance of a shopping list combined with a budget.

What holes do you have in your closet?

Make a list on a pad of paper or your phone to always have with you when you hit the stores or shop online. Be specific as you describe needed items and be picky as you buy them. Only buy items that check off this list:

1. Falls within your color palette

2. Fits you correctly

3. Can combine with at least 4 or 5 other items in your wardrobe (the more the better!)

4. You love it (you don’t just think it’s kinda cute)
