How To See How an Outfit Formula Looks with YOUR Pieces & Save Your Custom Looks
This video shows the previous version of the app. The steps below are current.
Once your pieces are in My Closet, you can see any outfit formula with your own clothes and save your version. Saving customized outfits is a Premium feature.
Seeing an Outfit With Your Pieces
Turn on My Pieces on any outfit. It works on the Outfits page, the Calendar, and the Outfit of the Day on the Home page.
- Pieces you haven’t added to your closet show the Frump Fighters example instead.
- Tap Shuffle to cycle through different versions of your pieces.
- Use the Closet menu to show pieces from just one closet.
To see every outfit with your pieces at once: on the Outfits page, tap Show and turn on Preview outfits with my pieces.
Swapping a Piece
Tap any piece in the outfit image. You can:
- Pick a different version of that piece from your closet.
- Edit this piece
- Create new piece
- Remove from outfit
Saving Your Version
- Tap Save Now to save the outfit as it looks.
- Or tap Customize to make changes first.
In the Customize window:
- Choose who can see it under visibility: All Members so others can be inspired, or Private so only you can see it.
- Tap Upload images to add up to 3 photos of yourself wearing the outfit.
- Under Outfit Breakdown, type in the search box to add a piece. Tap the X on a piece to remove it. Use the closet menu to search one closet.
- Turn Flat lay on or off.
- Add a note if you’d like.
- Check Add to outfit calendar to put it on one of your custom calendars.
- Tap Save.
Don’t close the window while it’s saving.
If you change a main piece (the top and bottom, or the dress), the outfit number may change to match.
If you’ve already saved a version of that outfit number, you’ll be asked whether to save this one as a new version.
Other Places to Start
- From a piece in your closet: in My Closet, tap the three dots on a piece and tap Outfit Ideas.
- From a specific outfit number: on the Outfits page, type the number in the search bar.
- From another member’s outfit: on the Outfits page, tap Community (Premium), then turn on My Pieces on any outfit.
Finding Outfits You’ve Saved
On the Outfits page, tap Mine. If you see only a few, open Filters and clear them.
