How To Print Your Shopping List
This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to print a shopping list from the Interactive’s Closet, helping you track items you need to purchase for your curated wardrobe.
We highly recommend using the Closet itself when shopping for new pieces for your wardrobe. With its category, filter, and sorting options, it helps you identify exactly what you need. You can also access detailed information about each piece by tapping the Details link next to each item in the Closet.
However, we understand the convenience of having a physical list during a shopping trip.
Preparing for Printing
Here are a few key things to remember before you start printing:
- While it’s possible to print from a phone, we highly recommend using a computer or laptop for the best results when printing your shopping list.
- Make sure to check off items you already own in your Closet. This way, you can set filters to only display items you still need.
- Remember that printing captures everything visible on your screen at that time, including the size of your window.
Steps to Print Your Shopping List
Follow these steps to print your list:
- Navigate to the Closet Page: Begin by accessing the Closet page on the Interactive platform.
- Choose Your Display Mode: For a detailed view with item photos and any notes you’ve made, select Detailed at the top of your Closet page. For a simpler list, opt for List View.
- Use Filters: Utilize the Have/Still Need filter on the left to narrow your list down to items you still need. You can also use additional filters for a more tailored shopping list.
- Select Your Closet: If you have multiple closets, ensure you’ve picked the correct one from the drop-down menu in the top left corner.
- Load All Items: Once you’re satisfied with your filtered list, scroll down to ensure all your items have loaded. This might take a while, but it’s necessary as the printout will only show what’s currently displayed on your screen.
- Resize Your Window: To make each item entry fully visible and appropriately sized on the printed list, resize your window to about half the size of a typical computer screen.
- Print the List: Right-click and select Print, or use CTRL/Command + P to open the print dialogue box.
- Preview and Adjust: If the print preview doesn’t look as expected, cancel the print, adjust your page size, and try again.
- Print Your List: Once you’re satisfied with the preview, go ahead and print your list.
And, that’s how to print a shopping list from the Interactive’s Closet — making your shopping experience smoother and more organized.
