How to Get Pictures of Your Clothing Pieces from Online
This video shows the previous version of the app. The steps below are current.
If you bought a piece online, or can find it online, you can use the store’s photo instead of taking your own.
Saving the Image
- On a computer: right-click the image and choose Save Image.
- On a phone: press and hold the image until a menu pops up, then tap Save Image.
If that doesn’t work, or the image saves in a format that won’t upload, take a screenshot instead.
Taking a Screenshot
- Windows: search for the Snipping Tool, tap New, and drag around the piece.
- Mac: press Command + Shift + 4 and drag around the piece.
- Phone: take a screenshot, then crop it to the edges of the piece.
Get as close to the edges of the piece as you can. If the photo shows a model, just capture the piece. The app will remove the background for you.
Adding It to Your Closet
- Go to My Closet.
- Tap Edit Info on the piece (or tap the three dots and tap Edit).
- Tap Upload and choose your photo.
- Tap Remove Background. The app removes the background and crops the photo to the edges of your piece.
- Add a Nickname, and the Store, Brand, and Product Link if you have them.
- Tap Save Changes.
