If you can locate an item you purchased online, you can capture that image to customize items in the Closet.
How To Save An Image Directly From A Website
- To save an image, right click on the image and see if there is a Save Image option.
- On your phone, you would hold down on an image until a menu pops up.
- If available, select Save Image.
How To Use A Snipping Tool
If you’re not able to save the image in the above way, or it saves as an incompatible file format, you can also use a snipping tool.
- Look for the snipping tool on a Windows computer by typing in snipping tool.
- When you open the snipping tool, you can select New and then capture the part of the screen that you want to save.
- Save the image to your computer.
How To Save Images On A Mac
- On a Mac, you can use Command + Shift + 4 on your keyboard to launch the screenshot tool and capture part of your screen.
- With a mouse or touchpad, draw a border around the image.
- Release the mouse or touchpad
For images of a product that include the model, simply get as close to the item as you can by drawing your snipping tool or screenshot outline as close to the edge as possible.
How To Add A Photo To Your Closet
To add a photo to an item you haven’t yet customized within the Closet:
- Navigate to the Closet.
- Locate the item you want to customize.
- Tap Edit.
- Tap Upload.
- Find and select the photo on your phone or computer that you would like to use.
- Tap Crop & Remove Background to remove the background and resize the item.
- Add notes and/or additional information about the piece.
- Tap Update.
If you have already customized an item in the Closet and would like to add another option:
- Navigate to the Closet.
- Tap the pink plus sign in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Find the closet item you’re looking for using the search box or the Show Options drop-down.
- Tap Select.
- Tap Add New.
- Give the item a nickname to differentiate it from the item already in your Closet.
- Tap Upload.
- Find and select the photo on your phone or computer that you would like to use.
- Tap Crop & Remove Background to remove the background and resize the item.
- Add notes and/or additional information about the piece.
- Tap Update.
How To Add Item Details
When customizing items within the Closet, you can:
- Select the Closet where you’d like to item to be added.
- Make notes about the piece.
- Provide information about the store and brand and even a link to the item if it’s online.
This will allow other users to shop the items when you share inspiration outfits within the Interactive.
