How To Create A Custom Outfit

If you’d like to try outfit combinations that aren’t found in one of the Frump Fighters collections, you can do so by creating and saving custom outfits.

How To Create A Custom Outfit From Scratch

  • Navigate to the Outfits page.
  • Tap the pink plus sign at the bottom right-hand corner.
  • Begin adding pieces by typing them into the Outfit Breakdown dialogue box.
  • Continue typing and selecting pieces to add to this outfit.
  • Once the outfit is as you’d like it, select the visibility.
    • All Members allows other members to be inspired by this outfit; Private means it’s visible only to you.
  • Use Add To Outfit Calendar to add the outfit to a customized calendar, if desired.
  • Tap Save.

A few things to note:

  • The Interactive will automatically assign a custom outfit number to your outfit, which will have the letter C attached to the outfit number. It will also live under the collection name “Custom Member Outfits”.
  • If your custom outfit’s main two pieces match those already saved by another member, your outfit will inherit that preexisting outfit number.

How To Create A Custom Outfit From An Existing Outfit Formula

You can also create a custom outfit by starting with an existing Frump Fighters outfit formula. To do this:

  • Navigate to the Outfits page.
  • Use the filters on the left to search for all of the outfits using a particular outfit piece.
    • If you’re on a phone, you’ll need to tap Show Filters to expand the filters.
  • Tap the outfit you want to customize.
  • Toggle My Pieces.
  • Tap Customize.
  • Add, subtract, or swap the pieces within the outfit formula until it’s as you’d like it.
    • If you own more than one outfit collection, the custom outfit feature allows you to combine pieces from multiple collections to create even more outfit combinations.
  • Tap Save.

Note: If the combination you have put together matches an existing outfit formula, the Interactive will find that formula for you. A popup will appear allowing you to add all, some, or none of the pieces within the existing formula. And, your final outfit will save a customized version of the new outfit number not a Member Created Custom outfit.

How To See Custom Outfits From Other Members

  • Navigate to the Outfits page.
  • Select the Custom Member Outfit option from the filters on the left-hand side.
  • Select the Community filter along the bottom of the Outfits page.
    • Be sure that any other filters you’ve selected on the left-hand side of the page is cleared to ensure all outfits are displayed.

How To See Your Custom Outfits

  • Navigate to the Outfits page.
  • Select the Mine option along the bottom.
    • Be sure that any filter you’ve selected on the left-hand side of the page is cleared to ensure that all of your saved outfits are displayed.

And, that is how you create, save, and view custom outfits.
