Have you heard of LipSense lipstick yet?
LipSense Lipstick has been around for a while, but it took a while to grab my attention. I guess it’s easy to subconsciously dismiss what someone’s saying when they promise something hard to believe.
Lipstick that doesn’t smudge off onto anything? Color that lasts all day? Yeah right.
It wasn’t until one of my friends told me about it personally and I was curious. She actually demonstrated how it doesn’t come off, wiping her hand across her gorgeous wine-colored lips. That was the tipping point for me. I had to check this out!

This lip”stick” goes on as liquid and then binds with your lip. Once it’s on and sealed (5 seconds), it is:

The “Coffee Cup” Test
The first weekend I tried my LipSense color (Aussie Rose), I put its “smudge-free” claims to the test. Just after applying my color + gloss, I took a drink from my coffee cup.
It passed the test! There was no color left on the cup. It was really crazy actually! One of those natural-law-defying experiences. 😛
I also did “the napkin test.” And not even wiping my mouth removed any color.
The only thing that comes off is the clear lip gloss (like regular gloss would), but the color does not.
I love that I don’t have to reapply my lipstick after eating… or kissing ;o) Just a bit of lip gloss if you want that extra shine and moisture throughout the day.

Additional shades of color are $25 each.
Don’t get scared away by the price. Girl, you HAVE to give this a try.
If you get a color you can wear every day, and only apply once in the morning, the $25 for the color is WORTH IT! (1 tube of color will last you as long as four tubes of regular lipstick!)
Not sure what color to start with? Ask for suggestions in the comments! I recommend starting with a more neutral tone that you currently like in your regular lipsticks.
